ArtsMart is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Adsum Art Consultancy and Khayrazad to bring you the Khayrazad fundraiser in Cairo on June 17th. The fundraiser will be a charity art exhibition and silent auction at the Giza branch of Andrea restaurant, where proceeds will go to Aboul Rish Children’s Hospital for the purchase of much needed equipment and devices, including a Central Sterilization Unit machine, and updating the hospital’s Hemodialysis Unit.
Over 90 artworks have been donated by seven art institutions, including ArtsMart.
Artworks on display will include work by Inji Efflatoun, Mohamed Abla, Mohamed Rabie, Mohamed Sabry, Guirguis Lotfy, Lina Mowafy, Klay Kassem, Britt Boutros Ghali and Aya El Fallah,
In addition to the open exhibition, three artworks will be up for a silent auction, which ends on 17 June: The Family by Inji Efflatoun offered by Safar Khan, Motherhood II by Guirguis Lotfy offered by Art Talks, and The Traveller by Gamal Meleka offered by Arts Mart.
A catalogue posted by Adum offers interested buyers the list of artworks on sale and details for purchasing.
Khayrazad Organization for Social Care is an NGO that aims to provide medical and social care to children in need.
They have previously helped fund educational schemes and supply urgently-needed medical equipment to various hospitals. Among their efforts to support Abou El-Rish hospital, Khayrazad provided an Intensive Care Unit, donating a fully equipped ambulance and a microscope for the paediatrics operating section.
Adsum Art is the Middle East’s first independent art consulting firm that aims to help art buyers and enthusiasts acquire art works and compose collections.
Arts Mart was established in 2009 as the first online art gallery in Egypt, functioning as an international centre to link art lovers and buyers to artwork by Egyptian artists.
