Wafaa Mohamed Yehia is a promising artist with a strong and diverse palette that reflects the myriad colours and flavours of her hometown. As a young artist, Yehia is unafraid to experiment with different subjects that affect her as a female artist living in Egypt, such as urbanization, gender equality, finding one's true purpose in life, and the social pressures on women.
Born in Alexandria in 1988, Yehia holds a bachelor degree in art from Alexandria University's Faculty of Fine Arts and worked as a teaching assistant there for two years. She is currently a full-time artist.
