Assuming a stylized compositional approach, Mahmoud Khattab has developed an aesthetic that emphasizes the brilliance balance of line work and color. His art, which blurs the line between editorial illustration and fine artistic expression, is one that can be universally appreciated across audiences.
Born in Gharbya in 1988, Khattab graduated from the Faculty of Fine Art at Helwan University in 2010 and earned his MA in Fine Arts in 2017. Since 2010, Khattab’s work has been exhibited extensively locally and internationally. He participated in many exhibitions such as Cairo Art Fair Exhibition in Arts-Mart gallery (2017); Exhibition of Innovation at the Isis Gallery of the Mahmoud Mokhtar Museum (2016 and 2017); the “Painting in Every House” exhibition and the Between Black and White” exhibition in Jaddah Atelier, Saudi Arabia (2015 and 2016); the "Dialogue" exhibition in Le Cairo Gallery, Zamalek (2015); and the collective exhibition in Austrian Sculpture center in Cairo (2015).
