Maha Hassan was born in 1962 and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 1985 from Helwan University.  Maha makes art that shows her interest in the moments of sunrise and sunset, as they inspire the beginning and end of a new bright day. These magical moments overshadow- life with pink and purple colors, which are colors that carry sadness and passion. I also love boats, ports, and boat manufacturing stations. Maha also is greatly inspired by flowers in her paintings. Her work is signified with a special vision between abstraction and magical realism, including optimism, radiance, and joy of color.
