Norwegian artist Katrina Verbalovich works in a variety of mediums, including paintings, jewelry, wearable art, mixed media murals, mosaic and sculpture. Tying these various practices together is the underlying innovation in her approach and the freedom with which she combines ideas and motifs.
Born in 1960, Verbalovich studied art at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Her artwork has been featured in over 41 exhibitions around the world, including Norway, Egypt, France, USA and Estonia, such as On Caravan Gallery and Picasso Gallery in Cairo, the 3rd International Contemporary Art Biennale at Art East in Texas, Galleri Sallen in Fredrikstad, Norway, and Espace Vega in Paris. Her artwork is exhibited permanently at hotels in Sharm El Sheikh and Nile Cruiser Hapi Tours, as well as corporate offices in North Africa and Washington DC.
