Nageh AlAshry, born in 1992 in Qena, Egypt, is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Luxor. Since graduating in 2017, he has pursued a career both as an artist and as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Luxor.
AlAshry’s artistic journey is marked by significant participation in exhibitions and workshops, reflecting his dedication to the evolving field of contemporary art. His achievements include showcasing his work at the Sharjah Prize Exhibition in 2014, and participating in the Luxor International Symposium Artists’ Workshop in 2015 and 2017. His work has also been featured internationally, including a group exhibition in Scotland in 2018. More recently, he exhibited at Khan Moroccan Gallery in 2020 and Cordoba Gallery in 2022.
Nageh AlAshry continues to contribute to the artistic landscape through both his practice and academic role, solidifying his place in the contemporary Egyptian art scene.
