Mohamed Radwan

Born in Cairo in 1970, Mohamad Radwan obtained his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 1993, his Master's in 2000, and then his Doctorate's in 2006 from Helwan University. Even prior to his graduation, Radwan took part in Youth Salons, Biennales, Salons of Mini Works of Art, National Exhibitions, Aswan International Symposia, etc.. On the International scene, Radwan participated in the Iron Sculpture Biennales in both Perugia and Foligno in Italy as well as in the Aley Symposium in Lebanon, and the Nanto Pietra Symposium in Italy.

Radwan's creative practice comprises a career of contemporary abstract sculpture using mainly iron and bronze. Despite the abstracted geometric forms, Radwan's approach ensures that his sculptures are accessible and somehow reachable to the viewer.
