Ahmet Magdy Mohamed has developed a body of work that resonates with a sense of subtlety. Soft washes of color or smooth, streamlined sculpted forms reveal themselves to be portents of profound introspection.
Born in Assiut in 1987, Magdy graduated from the Faculty of Specific Education of Cairo University in 2008, after which he pursued a career as a sculptor, beginning with his participation in the Ministry of Culture's Youth Salon competition. He has worked with several master sculptors, including his mentor, Mamdouh El Kook. His works of art have been exhibited in Cairo, Hurghada, Assiut, Jeddah, and Abu Dhabi in both art institutions and group exhibitions.
