Ahmed Alnimr (Born in Behira, Egypt, 1983) is an Egyptian visual artist whose practice foregrounds the presence of women as symbols of safety, generosity, and sacrifice, while simultaneously reflecting themes of waiting, solitude, and disillusionment within a complex social context. His work is driven by a profound visual inquiry into identity and collective memory, seeking to resist distortion and reaffirm cultural heritage.
Alnimr obtained a Diploma in Arabic Calligraphy in 2004 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alexandria University in 2012. Since 2007, he has been an active participant in Egypt’s contemporary art scene, including the Youth Salon (2017), the General Exhibition (2020, 2021, 2023, 2024), and the Luxor International Painting Symposium (2020).
His works are held in private collections across Egypt.
