Abd El Moein Saleh is an Egyptian sculptor born in 1951. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria. The artist is a member of the Visual Arts syndicate Egypt. Abd El Moein works and career have been between Egypt and Kuwait. His artistic career was rich with various participation in Egypt’s visual arts scene beginning in 1971. The artist continued in his artistic journey in kuwait where he has held various solo exhibitions. Abd El Moein Saleh currently resides in Egypt and continues to produce mesmerising sculptures that embody human emotions. The artist recognizes the different emotions one goes through like love, joy, surprise, movement, stillness, silence, agility, terror, closeness and other emotions that influences ones movement and body language. Abd El Moein’s work depicts still shots of these emotions after diveling in the meaning of each emotion and simplifying it to be represented in a sculpture.
Abd El Moein sculptures are part of the art collection of different collectors in Egypt, Kuwait, Munich, Libya and the US. His work can also be found in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Qatar and in Kuwait.
