TAM.Gallery cordially invites you to Ibrahim El Tanbouli’s Master Of Dreams exhibition and book signing. The exhibition opens at our gallery at the Riverside Hotel in Zamalek on Sunday September 30 from 7:00 pm-10:00 pm.
The show will feature an exciting selection of Ibrahim El Tanbouli’s most prominent paintings and sculptures. This is a special opportunity for Tanbouli collectors and lovers to get a signed copy of his book and be surrounded by some of his most breath-taking pieces.
Born in Alexandria in 1954, Ibrahim El Tanbouli is a passionate painter and sculptor. His works are centered around his perceptions of typical Egyptian life. Using his unique palette, El Tanbouli explores human connections and themes of intimacy through placing vibrantly painted figures in familiar settings; a master of composition, he combines these subjects using a combination of simple and complex line-work.
He has held several private and group exhibitions in: Egypt, Germany, Jordan, Italy, Denmark, as well as the Egyptian Academy in Rome. He also represented Egypt at the Carthage Festival in Tunisia, organized by ECUME for Mediterranean countries. His works can also be found in the private collections of companies and individuals in Egypt, Jordan, German, Italy, England, Denmark, USA, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia. He has received several prizes, including the Alexandria University and the Ministry of Higher Education’s awards for all Egyptian Universities, and Fekr Wa Fan Gallery’s Salon prize. Tanbouli’s work is on display at the Museum of Modern Art in Cairo, the Royal Museum of Jordan in Amman, and the National Museum of Tunisia in Tunis.
Tanbouli’s painting, Unity Under The Golden Eagle, which is featured on his book cover, will be part of a silent auction where all of its proceeds will be donated to the Abo El-Reesh Children Hospital.
