“The Five Elements” as seen by Fayrouz Samir

Fayrouz's body of work is mostly inspired by feminist issues such as societal pressures that women face. She aims to portray the effect of various life experiences on a woman's body language and demeanor.

The five elements in nature represent a strong source of energy in the universe, namely the earth, water, air, fire, and plants, as they interconnect, diverge, merge or repel in abstract formations, overlapping relationships between land, sea, water, and the effects of the movement of waves by the action of air and tides, leaving remnants, traces, and the remains of minute creatures in visual formations. Rich in tones, levels, and textures all this is embodied in the painting technique with fire and burst of air

تمثل العناصر الخمسة في الطبيعة مصدر قوي للطاقة في الكون وهم الأرض والماء والهواء والنار والنبات حيث تترابط، تتباعد، تندمج أو تتنافر في تكوينات تجريدية وعلاقات متداخلة بين البر والبحر واليابس والماء وآثار حركة الأمواج بفعل الهواء والمد والجزر تاركة مخلفات وآثار وبقايا مخلوقات دقيقة في تشكيلات بصرية غنية بالدرجات اللونية والمستويات والملامس كل هذا تجسد في تقنية التصوير بالنار واندفاع الهواء.
