كنت في محطة (جمال العابر) في مارسيي رأيت انعكاسي في الزجاج سرحت ولم أفق الا وهو يتحرك بصورتي.. للحظة علمت أنه لم يفتني؛ هو أخذ صورتي المنعكسة لتصل قبلي، ناسياً بوكيه الورد الذي كنت أحمله في يدي لجميلة لم أصل إليها..فيروز اسف اني لم أصل في الموعد

Fleeting Passersby are beautiful

You barely feel the weight of their shadow

Perhaps only a little dust

That soon fades away.

This verse is an excerpt from a wonderful poem by the Lebanese poet Wadie Saadeh.

His words left me questioning the nature of those who pass me by, and my nature as one to others.

العابرون سريعا جميلون

لايتركون ثقل ظل

ربما غبارا قليلا

سرعان ما يختفي

هذه سطور من نص بديع للشاعر اللبناني وديع سعادة

هو نص ترك لي سؤال بعد قرائته.. من هم العابرون سريعا بك وكانوا جميلين

ومن هم الذين انت عبرت بهم وكنت كالغبار الخفيف

And so I make a list of those who beautifully faded away:

The wind passes me by, scents, boats and spirits.

The cool breeze and sea waves and tesselating lights.

Cats and dogs and migrating flocks.

Time passes me by, a good mood with mint tea and ice cream and dancers and music.

In this collection, the artist set out to explore the verses of poetry by renowned poet Wadie Saadeh. It is the age-old unison of music and lyrics, using bold vivid colours to create an emotional symphony of art, words and meaning.

..وبدأت اكتب قائمة العابرين سريعا 

الريح عابرة والعطور والمراكب والارواح

الهواء عابر والامواج والانوار الملونة

القطط عابرة والكلاب والطيور المهاجرة

والوقت عابر والمزاج الرائق مع النعناع والايس كريم ومع الراقصين على موسيقى العالم.م 

With this body of work I attempt to meet those fleeting passersby and experience the beauty of them fading away.
