Internationally recognized as a top portrait painter, artist Wagih Yassa expresses a unique visual power in the likenesses of his sitters. Bold yet composed in his technique, Yassa has embarked on an artistic journey with his portraits that continually evolves.

Yassa obtained his bachelor of arts in English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts English Department, Cairo University. He has since painted many portraits for famous personalities using different media. Yassa has worked for many magazines in Egypt, Canada, and the USA. He is a member of the Canadian Portrait Society and Watercolors Society in Canada. He also owns a private art gallery in Toronto. Yassa has held three private exhibitions and participated in several group exhibitions in Egypt.
