Tarig Kamaleldin Ibrahim Eltayb, born in Omdurman, Sudan, in 1977, is a distinguished Sudanese artist with a passion for visual expression. Holding a Ph.D. in Art Education from the College of Education at the University of Bahri, Sudan, achieved on June 4th, 2018, Tarig's academic journey has been marked by a commitment to the exploration of artistic knowledge.
He earned his Master's in Fine Art from the College of Art, Music & Drama at the University of Juba on February 1, 2011, and graduated with First Class honors in Bachelor of Fine Art (Painting) from the College of Fine & Applied Art at Sudan University of Science & Technology in June 2004.
Tarig's artistic endeavors have been showcased in various exhibitions, including the Black and White Exhibition at the Franc Cultural Centre in 2017, the Kandaka Pop-Up Lounge at the Residence of the Embassy of the State of America in Khartoum in May 2018, and solo exhibitions like "Kanabi" in Cairo in November 2020. His participation in group exhibitions, such as "Small Works" in November 2020 and "Uptown Dream Scape" in November 2021 in Cairo, reflects the diversity of his artistic expression.
Having participated in international symposiums like the Burullus International Symposium in Egypt in October 2018 and the Origin International Art Symposium in Bahir Dar Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in January-February 2023, Tarig continues to engage with the global art community.
