Born in 1991 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Shady was raised in Alexandria, Egypt, where he completed his studies and became involved in the local art scene. He has participated in several Youth Salons and General Salons through the Ministry of Culture in Egypt. He also participated in several group exhibitions including the “Agenda” exhibition in Bibliotheca Alexandrina in 2012, 2013 and 2021. Shady also participated in Biennale Ostraka in 2019, and The Small Artwork Exhibition in Atelier Alexandria 2015. Hi work was exhibited in the Egyptian Cultural office in Rome, Italy 2012. He has participated in a Children’s book workshop at Goethe institute 2012. He completed a full course online in the study of modern art and ideas at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York for a year in 2018.
