Rana Samir is a dynamic artist who graduated in Fine Arts in 2018. With a primary focus on illustration but a keen willingness to explore diverse artistic mediums including crafts, and video. Rana draws inspiration from the mosaic of her life experiences, both past and present, her surroundings, and the people who cross her path. Her work is marked by a deep fascination with the concept of collecting and collections, delving into what these notions reveal about human behavior and habits. Rana's artistic journey has been celebrated through a number of group exhibitions in Egypt and Germany, showcasing her versatile talent.
Rana also enriched her artistic journey by participating in Studio Khana's Students' Council program and exhibiting her work at the American University in Cairo's Tahrir Cultural Centre. She participated in the Youth Salon, and international projects like "Informal City Park" in Germany, which garnered attention in Leipzig and Cologne.
