Egyptian visual artist Noura Selim uses painting as a profound means of self-expression. Channeling her deepest emotions and experiences into her impressive body of work, Selim stands today as assuredly one of the most important rising artists of her generation.
Selim graduated with honors from the Painting department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Helwan University in 2013. She is a member of the Syndicate of Artists and she received a full-time grant from the Ministry of Culture in 2014, 2015, 2016, Selim has participated in many local and international exhibitions, cultural workshops, and artistic activities such as: the Caravan Festival; the Key "ANKH" in Egypt London and New York; the Salon of Faces; and the Black & White salon at El Gezira Art Center. Her work has been acquired by collectors both in Egypt and abroad.
