Artist and illustrator Nermin Bahaa has developed a style that pairs elegant likenesses of women with a playful, friendly air. Her stylized treatment of her figures combined with her light subjects and vibrant palette make Bahaa’s work a pleasure for the senses.
Born in Cairo in 1983, Bahaa graduated from Faculty of Art Education in 2004 and started her career as an illustrator in 2007. Her work has been published in various newspapers and magazines, such as Al Masry Al Youm, Dar Al Hilal magazines and books, Qatr el Nada magazine and Sabah Al Khair magazine. Nermin also provided many cartoons and illustrations for children and adults’ books both locally and internationally. She has participated in many exhibitions and workshops in Egypt.
