Alexandrian artist Mohsen Abdel Fattah has been active in the Egyptian contemporary art scene since the early nineties. He is fond of painting people, and his subjects often align harmoniously with the setting of his scenes. Like many Egyptian artists, Abdel Fattah prefers using symbols to express traditional themes and concepts.
An acclaimed figure in the Egyptian art world, Abdel Fattah has enjoyed the acquisition of his work by major collectors and institutions in Egypt and abroad. Among these institutions is the Majdanek State Museum in Poland.
