Mohamed Khaled Omran is a visual artist hailing from Cairo, Egypt, where he was born and raised in 1989. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Helwan University and went on to receive both his master’s and PhD degrees in 2015 and 2020 respectively.
Presently, Omran works as a lecturer at Helwan University, alongside his career as an artist. Omran has showcased his works in several art exhibitions in Egypt, ranging from solo exhibitions at private galleries to group exhibitions like the Youth Salon. He has also participated in international exhibitions like the 8th Beijing International Art Biennale in 2019 and the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair in 2022.
Omran's artistry is diverse, as he has honed his skills in various artistic mediums, including painting, sculpture, stained glass, mosaics, and installations. As a visual storyteller, Omran uses his artwork to convey his unique perspective, emotions, and imagination through visual imagery. He surpasses boundaries, continually experimenting with various materials to achieve his envisioned artistic outcomes.
