Dr. Mohamed Kamel Al Hadidi has garnered acclaim for his sculptures that mate iron with other materials such as stones and woods of trees. In doing so, Al Hadidi addresses the theme of the expressive qualities of nature as conveyed through the ores used.
Born in 1971, Dr. Hadidi is a professor and the head of the sculpture department within the Faculty of Art Education at Minya University. His work is part of many collections both within Egypt and beyond its borders.
