Invoking minimal forms that allow the raw materials of his sculpture to shine, artists Mohamed El Labban plays with the viewer’s concept of body, form, and mass in innovative ways.

El Labban studied Art Criticism at The Arts Academy. He is a member of the Fine Arts Union and the National Arts Organization in Egypt. His sculptures have been featured in over 15 national exhibitions. El Labban is the recipient of five national art awards, including a prize in the 19th Youth Salon for Sculpture, and he received a certificate of appreciation and honor from the Media Production City’s Minister of Information.
