Mary Shaker graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Helwan University, majoring in interior design. Mary's upbringing amidst an artistic family deepened her passion and practice of art. She initially started her career in fashion, following her father’s footsteps. Later on, she was inspired by her mentor, visual artist and professor Magdi El Adawi, to rekindle her passion for painting and use it as a medium for meditation and self-expression. Her mix of techniques and styles between landscape and abstract gives her work a distinctive flair and identity.
