Layla Tag is an Egyptian fine artist born in 1996. She grew up in Cairo and started painting from  her early childhood as a way to escape into her own world of imagination. She studied Fine Arts in  the Higher School of Art and Design in Saint-Etienne, France (ESADSE). 

Tag finished her Master’s  Degree in Artistic production from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain (UPV) in 2019. She  then moved back to Cairo and devoted herself to painting where she enjoyed moments of silence  and solitude. Her art is inspired from her memories and surroundings. In her paintings, she mixes  abstract art and figuration letting the colours dance freely on the surface of the canvas.
