Using a thick, expressive brushstroke as the guiding force of his painterly compositions, artist Islam El Rihany seeks to encourage through his art a consideration of both message and process. Born in Assiout in 1986, El Rihany completed his BA at Minya University's Faculty of Fine Art, where he now works and teaches. His artwork has been featured in many exhibitions around Egypt and collected by many.
