Hesham Abdelmoaty explores the tenets of both Impressionism and Expression in art such that he can focus on the tension between globalized forms and national identity. He adopted this style that flowed naturally from his remarkable tasteful and refined brushstrokes. His subjects underscore that the most important elements of nature are indeed the most important themes in life.
Born in Benha in 1972, Abdelmoaty graduated with high honours from the Faculty of Specific Education within Benha University in 1995. He subsequently completed his MA degree in Inlaying in Ancient Egyptian Sculpting as well as his PhD in Contemporary Egyptian Sculpting. Currently a professor within the Faculty of Specific Education Benha University. In addition to his participation in a special exhibition in 2016 at the Picasso Hall in Zamalek, Abdelmoaty has held five individual exhibitions and joined more than 40 exhibitions both national and international. His artworks are permanently exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in Opera House; the Aswan Open Museum; the New Ceramic Museum; and the General Authority for Cultural Palaces.
