Born in Cairo in 1993, Heba Abu El Ella is a visual artist and light designer. She studied Sculpture and Light design at the Faculty of Fine Arts and she has been teaching light design for four years since graduation as a part of the student activity at the same faculty.
Abu El Ella has taken part in many group exhibitions with several galleries and institutions across Egypt and abroad. Among them are the "1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair" in London, UK.
among her sculpture work, there was the "Spectrum Installation" at Goethe Institute in 2018 and “Pensamiento ” Installation, Instituto Cervantes at the Spanish Cultural Centre in 2017.
Her light design shows include: ‘Raheal’s Well’ show at El Hosapeer Theatre in 2019, “I” show that was part of 2B continued Festival at The AUC's Falaki Theatre in 2018, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory “ show in Falaki Theatre in 2017, and "Metanoia" show at Al Hanager Theatre of Cairo Opera House in 2016.
