Eman Hussin Nakhla, born in 1989, is a visual artist and printmaker based in Egypt. Her artistic journey is rooted in the exploration of ancient traditions, blending traditional and experimental printmaking techniques. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in printmaking from Helwan University in 2011 and an MFA in printmaking with laser etching techniques in 2019, Eman's work delves into the convergence of past, present, and future. She emphasizes the interconnectedness of life and the universe, aiming to capture fleeting emotions and the magical essence of ancient arts.
Her artistic endeavors have garnered recognition, including a production grant from the Egyptian Ministry of Culture for Artists (2012-2017), a Golden Medal at the Salon Du Cairo 56th (2013), and the Rafa Al-Nasiri annual award for graphic art in 2021. Eman's works are part of private collections in Egypt, France, Germany, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and the USA.
Eman has presented solo exhibitions at prestigious venues, including the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in 2012, Saad Zaghloul Cultural Center in 2016. Her participation in numerous group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally, reflects her commitment to artistic exploration and collaboration.
