Ayyad Alnimer, born in Egypt in 1948, is an artist whose work is known for its vibrant energy and dynamic
brushwork. His paintings capture the essence of movement and life, reflecting a deep sense of optimism and emotion. Alnimer’s style, marked by rich color and expressive forms, has earned him recognition in both the Middle East and internationally.
After graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo in 1977, Alnimer moved to Amman, Jordan, where he became an active part of the local art scene. In 1986, he founded the Akhenaton Gallery, contributing to the growth of contemporary art in Jordan. Alnimer also dedicated time to teaching and writing about art,
influencing the local art education landscape. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions in Jordan, the Arab Gulf, Europe, and the United States. Notable collections include the Jordan National Museum and the Moca Yinchuan Museum in China, alongside private collectors worldwide. Over the years, his art has garnered support from prominent figures, includingQueen Noor Al Hussein of Jordan.
In 1989, Alnimer moved to the United States, where he continued to exhibit his work in cities like New York, Palm Beach, and Washington DC. Recently, he has returned to Egypt, reconnecting with his roots and continuing to share his art globally.

"As an artist, I express my perceptions of life through the language of paint, channeling both the visible and the unseen into each canvas. With every blank surface, I am reminded of the boundless ways I can
communicate—visually, emotionally, across the world. Each canvas is an open opportunity for self-expression, unconstrained by a singular perspective or rigid style. I do not hold myself to certain techniques, beliefs, or boundaries. My work embraces artistic freedom, allowing for exploration and discovery without limits.
Creating something meaningful from nothing is no simple task, but it is one I approach with the intent to
express my inner world through color, texture, patterns, and subject matter. The journey is as important as the destination, with each piece evolving organically as I connect deeper with my emotions.
My current collections include acrylics on canvas and paper, as well as monoprints on paper. Every piece
radiates energy and vitality, combining positive subject matter with rich brushwork and a bold, expressive style.
Through individual and direct visual interaction with my work, the viewer has a chance to embrace and
harmonize with my art to obtain a specific emotional response, making it unique to their own personal
interpretations and emotions.
