A master in the art of watercolors, painter Asmaa Samy revives the nineteenth-century Impressionist tradition by using the subtle washes of various hues to convey a sense of visual freedom throughout her body of work. Envisioning her paintings as striving to find their own harmony, akin to a musical score, Samy has developed an incredible body of work that resonates with such concord.
Samy graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Helwan University. Her artwork has since been featured in several group exhibitions in Cairo. including the Egyptian Ministry of Culture's Youth Salon, and Wekalet El Ghory in 2012.
